Michael L. Marcinik a 22 year active member of the Palm Bay Fire Department passed away suddenly May 19th while visiting Sanibel Island with his family. He joined the Fire Department in 1985 and rose through the ranks being promoted to Captain in 2005. He was a loyal and dedicated example for his coworkers and friends, known for treating others the way he would like to be treated. Mike grew up in a loving military family and passed those values on to his children. He was dedicated to his family and very involved with his children's extracurricular activities soccer and softball. The Palm Bay Police and Firefighter Pension Board would like to honor his life and express to his wife JoAnne, sons Ryan and Brett, daughter Lindsay, parents Roger and Gerda, brothers David, (who works for the Palm Bay Police) Steve, Daniel, Victor, and sister Heidi our deep regret for your loss of Michael. We honor his life and pray that Gods loving hand will guide all of his family during this time of loss.
